Why I Love New Orleans: it's like a good friend

You know when you just know you'd be good friends with someone?  Well, that's NOLA and everyone.  I mean, where else can you be sipping cocktails, trading homemade gumbo recipes and testing petit four variations when a marching band rolls into your living room?  Only in NOLA.

You get the feeling that this city never had a list of things or styles that they wanted to sprinkle throughout.  Traditional south mixed with bright colors creates a chill vibe.  Also, the list of amazing foods you can stuff your face with, is essentially endless.

P.S. Does anyone have a balcony in the French Quarter?  That looks like a chill sitch!
